Another great concert at Fenway Park last night!!  Was anyone else there who enjoyed the concert with me?! Hope he returns next year!!

No but we saw Billy Joel during a fairly good snowstorm.  The concert was sold out and he came out to say he would not start until everyone made it to the venue due to the roads slowing down people on the road.

how cool is that!!!! I have never seen Billy Joel live, but would absolutely love to....I bet it was fantastic!

I remember being a very young teenager and a huge Barry Manilow fan lol....one year he won a Grammy and during Barry's acceptance speech he mentioned Billy Joel (then a relative unknown) and said he was a talent to keep your eye on (or something like that). Funny the things your mind remembers.

I forgot to mention that this was his fourth concert at Fenway--been all four times!  Even though my arthritis has gotten the better of me, I wouldn't miss being able to go to his concert!  It's gonna be a day filled with Advil for me today!!

Billy Joel live is a MUST!!! I've seen him about 15 times, the 1st time was during college in the late 1970's.  I remember being "wow'd" by this new performer with two first names!

My favorite song is Piano Man.  Youtube has a great video from several years ago, done in a bar with Billy Joel at the piano.  Perfect.

Our oldest child was conceived after a Billy Joel concert, and that was over 30 years ago.  So BJ holds a special place in my heart!

I never appreciated Billy Joel until this past year. I could either take him or leave him. Yeah I heard some good songs by him on the radio, mostly when I lived on the east coast.

Moved back to the west coast and realized I had not heard Brenda and Eddie / Scenes from an Italian Restaurant in years; he's not played much where I live.

I went on YouTube to find the song and listen, and then I just let all the other videos play as they came up. I'd heard songs by Billy that I'd never heard before and I realized that this guy is truly gifted and great.

I hope that I get an opportunity to see him live one day.
