We've been having a lot of strong winds off and on for about a month and I think we're finally done with them.  Perhaps the one in NM blew in from NV

@dex   We don't have tornados around Albuquerque.  It's in the Rio Grand Valley pretty much surrounded by mountains.  We do have terrific spring winds though... early this year.  You get on the roads and dodge tumbleweeds.   The dust blows and you can't even see this big 10,300ft mountain.  Better have your windows closed.

By the title, I thought this thread was about a person, not a weather-related wind lol

 

Sorry you're having big winds. They can be so destructive to property. We lost a big tree during the last nor'easter we had about a month ago. Thankfully it fell away from the house and didn't hit anything except the ground.

I didn't leave the house today here in West Texas. The sky was filled with dirt and I have been sick for two weeks with a horrible sinus infection. I kept praying for rain to wash it away, but they say no chance in the next 7 days.
