Big Lots Family And Friends Sale Re-do

Because of the snowstorm last weekend, Big Lots is having another Family and Friends 20% off sale this weekend, Jan. 26 and 27. I was emailed a coupon for it. I'm not sure how BL will handle this with the general public that doesn't have a BL store card.

@Pearlee Oh, wow, that is nice of them. They must really need the business as

our Big Lots is usually pretty empty. Sometimes in our store, they have the discount

coupons sitting on a table for customers.

I didn't get the email, but I guess it will soon appear. I will have more time this

weekend to go.

I noticed it too -- somewhere.

I don't have their card, so didn't pursue.

When Big Lots first opened, it was great, now it's like every other store in it's category

I never bother to stop in, nothing tempts me.

On Sunday, DH wanted to walk through a big store so we stopped in. You didn’t need any coupons that day: everybody got 20% off.

Their prices were very high on staple products...even with the discount.

All I bought were 5 very large outdoors Christmas bows which were 75 % off and then the discount. Spent less than $5

Love Big-lots (love a bargain) but you have to know your prices.. They have really neat Garden supplies and accessories and their Christmas decor was really cute this year. Don't buy/need a lot of things nowadays but never tire of browsing this store.

I think they've come a longggg way from when I shopped there years ago.

As I've mentioned before, I love BIg Lots seasonal paper plates and napkins. I posted pictures of the Easter offerings last week, but I went yesterday and they had fun selections out for summer. Great prices on them also.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

Got my Big Lots email this morning regarding a winter storm re-do for this

weekend. But when I opened it, there is a coupon to print for Sat. the 26th.

Also on bottom in small print it mentions only in select stores affected by

storm. No mention of what to do, coupon wise or card for Sunday. I am

going Sat., maybe they will have extra coupons in store like they previously

had. Hope to find some goodies as their prices are pretty good with 20%

off @Pearlee. Thanks for keeping us up to date.

@Pearlee Thanks. I don't go there often, but when I do I usually find something. My daughter asked me to go there with her early last month and they happened to be having a Fall clearance. She purchased quite a few gifts there. All top quality. We both left very happy.

@threecees The email I got today says 20% off everything this weekend. Then it says Sat. Jan. 26 and Sun. Jan. 27th with a coupon below that. I'm sure it's both days.
