@San Antonio Gal   Why???? She is lovely.  Why would you like her to wear false lashes and lip liner???? Why paint the peac*ck🤔

Just asking because should not we be accepting women as they are? Obviously she is comfortable with her looks.

@Trinity11 That’s cool that you got a freebie of it with your purchase. The way I found it was years ago going to Kaufmans and the ladies would be there at the various makeup counters asking if you would like them to apply some makeup on you. I was hooked mostly because I have very sensitive skin (even on my lips) and it doesn’t bother me.

Also @Icegoddess I’ve never used a lip primer. No need to with Estée Lauder.

@IcegoddessI understand what you’re saying because every now and then I try a new lip liner that the Q is presenting only to return it the same day. I’ve never in the many years of using Estée Lauder had any lip liner run on me. It stays put all day! It’s that good.

@RescueLover I don't really want to make mine larger per se.  What I really want is to poof them out a little so they don't look so wrinkly, LOL.  But, I doubt I'll be doing anything to them.  I just wish the temporary lip plumpers actually worked.

Do you wear makeup?

bad looking makeup washes off

@okaywitheasypay  I believe the point is people also wear makeup to feel good. They may not use injections etc. but still enhance their looks with makeup. I other words they still present an outside appearance that is not natural.

Yes makeup washes off but I do not believe that is the reason for applying makeup.

And some makeup applications can look hideous too.

Slight, temporary plumping via lipstick is a good option.

I've seen (on TV, not in real life) lips that are overly-plumped via surgery or injections.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

@Icegoddess I don’t have overly large lips. The liner just naturally enhances them. As for lip lines I’m very lucky I don’t have any YET. But I’m wondering if a good lipstick would cover them.

I tried lip plumpers a couple times just to see if I liked my lips plumper, but they irritated my lips so much I had to return them.

@Catastrophe

I hate the look of trout mouth, when they get so much pumped in that their mouths no longer function properly and it looks like it takes effort to actually keep their lips closed.

It looks strange at that point and takes away from their beauty in my opinion. It's done so much that I find myself actually appreciating the beauty of smaller natural looking lips.

So, no I don't like the look of obvious and overdone but I do like the look of full (not alien/trout looking) lips whether natural or filler pumped.

I do have naturally full lips and I do appreciate them and if I didn't I can see thinking about plumper.

I say, it's your body and if something bothers you enough...life's too short not to "fix/improve" them if you have the desire and means....just please no trout mouth!!!

This is a NO! Imagine an X over this picture....

@RescueLover My favorite lipstick is a Christian Dior one, but it's been discontinued.  I guess it's more how prumey they are, so, not lines although I do now have the vertical lip lines.

I actually like the feel of lip plumpers which makes you think they are working, but the only one I've found that actually does anything is Lip Venom.  It doesn't plump my lips, but it does bring color to them, albeit short lived.

Have you seen the (supposedly) world's biggest lips (on Andrea Ivanova from Bulgaria)? 30 injections so far.

She has had 43 different surgeries, including some to get a 75E cup chest (not stopping there), and her future plans include having the "most pointed and elongated chin in the world" and the "world's biggest cheekbones". She's thrilled with her look, and is only 25, so she has lots of time to have more procedures Woman Wink

Edited to add picture of what she used to look like:

One person's idea of aging gracefully is another person's idea of letting yourself go.

One person's idea of tasteful makeup is another person's idea of Baby Jane Hudson.

Why not just let people be what makes them feel their best instead of turning it into some kind competition. Which it is not.

As for lips, the results I've seen on normal every day people are quite nice and I'm quite envious!
