In the immortal words of Yogi Berra: "It's deja vu all over again." I go to sleep last night and the house is set on getting rid of Frank. I wake up this morning and we're back to backdooring Janelle again. Oy! These people are drivng me nuts! This is the ultimate season of flipping and flopping. Come on people! Make a decision and stick with it! It's not really that hard a game.
This latest flip or flop (I've lost track of which is which anymore) in a long, long season of flip flops came about during a coaches meeting where all four coaches got together and talked game. Boogie insisted he wouldn't join them if Frank left. He absolutely has to keep Frank in the game. (Note to production: Boogie's diet may need a tick more saltpeter. He is clearly lusting after Frank.) Janelle insisted he had to lose Frank. Boogie suggested she give up Wil instead since he's already on the block. Janelle hesitated (oh oh!) and that hesitation (on top of a few hundred lies and backstabbings) may have just cost her the shot at $500,000.
Dan, Britney, and Boogie now feel that Janelle won't sacrifice any of her team members and is hoping to keep her whole team intact to go after them, but Boogie is more than willing to sacrifice Ian or Jenn, but just wants to keep Frank. (Uh, Frank, if you have a functioning braincell left under that curly mop, it might be a good idea to get a restraining order against Boogie when you get out of there. Call me crazy, but I'm pretty sure Boogie's interest in you goes a bit beyond that of a coach.)
So, after getting a very bad vibe from Janelle, Dan/Danielle, Britney/Shane, and Boogie/Frank have now formed a new alliance and are calling themselves "The Silent Six." They've vowed to stay together until the final six and then fight it out among themselves for the win. (Sure. That'll happen.) So confident are they in this alliance that Britney/Shane and Dan/Danielle also formed a second alliance that includes Ian. One gets the distinct impression that Dan/Danielle and Britney/Shane aren't really planning on taking Boogie/Frank to the final six and would prefer to have Ian with them than against them.
While all of this madness was going down, the anti-coach alliance now calling themselves "Team T*ts" (replace the asterisk with an "i" for the real name) and composed of Jenn, Wil, and Ashley (with Joe also included, but they're not really telling him he's included as Joe has a bit of a history of not keeping secrets) is planning to go after the coaches when they win HOH. (Based on their play so far, that should happen on the twelfth of never.) They're figuring out that Janelle is heading for the backdoor (which oddly enough Janelle hasn't figured out yet) and they're pretty sure they can bring Shane and Frank to their side. Whenever "Team T*ts" wants to have a meeting they'll hold it in the storeroom and signal that they want a meeting by one of them using the word "t*ts." Sure. No one will notice that at all.
So later today we'll have the POV meeting which should be pretty entertaining. If things go according to plan then Janelle (one of production's favorites) will be put up to replace Wil. (Of course production won't do anything to interfere with the game like call in the houseguests to the DR and beg them not to put Janelle up opposite Frank. Or even let it slip to Janelle that she's likely going up as a replacement nominee. No. That would be wrong and interfere with the integrity of the game. They'd never do something like that.)
Danielle is planning to hide out in the HOH room all morning until time for the POV meeting to avoid conflict (smart girl.) Janelle will likely be blindsided by the replacement nom. (Though with the way this season has gone no one should be surprised by anything.) Then things should get pretty interesting after the meeting. Tempers will be flaring and Boogie and Frank will be gloating and Janelle will be loooking around for votes and not finding a lot. It could be a pretty interesting afternoon and evening of feed watching today. I'll post back after the POV meeting with the result, but at this moment it looks like Wil will be saved from the block and Janelle will take his place.
