Essential oils in any living creature's lungs can't be safe...even for humans.
Just because they are natural doesn't make them good for us. Why take a chance with breathing in this garbage? A little common sense goes a long way.

I stopped using the plug in ones because the maid wouldn't put them back correctly and they spilled. Toxic!

Diffusers of any kind is a form of air pollution.
Why would you want to breath in chemicals?

I read this awhile ago. As much as I'd like to try a diffuser the safety of my dog and cat comes first.

Tea tree oil smells so awful, I can't imagine anyone voluntarily wanting that odor in the house. What purpose is it supposed to serve?

Wow, I had no clue. Poor baby. I can not use those things because they set my migraines off...BIG time. I hope your pup is better soon.

O/P: Wishing your precious dog the best of health.
Please do not blame yourself.........So many people and moms just love scented everything.
I've seen them actually bury their noses into baby's blanket, loving the scent
How would you and many people/moms know about the dangers unless the information/warning is out there......?
When I was young, I loved and wore various perfumes (not too much, though).
We didn't have dryer sheets, diffusers, plug-in types of essential oil fragrances, etc.
Anyway, just wishing and hoping that your precious friend will make a quick and complete recovery.
And, thank you to any and all veterinarians who will step up and warn pet owners, preferably in the news media and TV announcements.

And, while I'm here..........Dare I say: What about our Ozone Layer?
Let's face it, those millions of strong chemical odors being emitted by millions of homes all across America are a lot stronger than, say, automobiles passing by. (Not saying that they aren't a huge problem to begin with.)
Just sayin'..............

I bought a pack of 6 wool dryer balls from Amazon, and have been tossing 2 in my dryer loads instead of a fabric softener sheet. Absolutely no static, and my towels come out thicker and fluffier then before. This pack of 6 should last me a long time.
Like them so well I got 4 more packs to give my SiL and sisters for Christmas.

I've always read tea tree is cumulatively toxic to cats, and I've posted about it. A vet replied to one of my posts, saying it wasn't.
I'm no vet and I've no desire to spread incorrect info about a choice that is potentially lethal to your kittyboos.
But I don't use any dilution of tea tree oil around my cat.
