@NoelSeven

I was just thinking of you as I made lunch.  Today's lunch is a conglomeration of all things 70s.

small GF pasta shells

broccoli/cauliflower slaw

shredded carrots

petite green peas

one red pepper, diced

two scallions, diced

one head of broccoli, chopped and roasted

roasted turkey bacon

shredded cheddar cheese

I mixed all of these items together, with Penzey's lemon pepper seasoning, a bit of bacon smoked sea salt, and added cranberry pear vinegar, and three different types of olive oil.  Then I spread a couple of scoops of it onto organic spinach leaves (dry) and combined it as I ate.

Delicious!

lola, that sounds delicious!  I love using pieces of turkey bacon to top a salad, and a little reduced fat cheese.

Last night we had the more fresh corn and hearts of Romaine with homemade low fat Caesar dressing.  I love all that's available in Summer produce!

All this talk of food is making me hungry!  I've been nursing my "injuries" from a fall I took yesterday morning... clumsy me!  And apparently it has succeeded in upsetting my tummy... but, one must eat!

Lola, how long would it take me to get to your house for lunch?

Sounds yummy!

I had another strange experience this morning (seems like I'm living under a full moon lately, LOL).

My work e-mail is open (but minimized), and I hear a chime.

It's my big boss (two levels above me), telling me that there is no power at the location, but I can work from a different location today (and copied to another co-worker).

I e-mail back, saying that we had agreed to work together TOMORROW, but that I would be happy to come in today instead (I wasn't dressed OR showered) and work at the other location.

I wait about 20 minutes thinking - do I shower now or wait for instructions?

I get another e-mail saying- "you were right.  It's tomorrow that we're working together."

Bizarre!

I didn't read the spoiler about Rusty, so I'll just keep my fingers crossed that his demise is imminent.  Cat Wink

KM, I wondered how you were doing after the fall.  I had one several months ago and know how that goes.

I hope it isn't too bad for you Smiley Sad

Thanks, Noel, I'll post more a little later.  Right now my tummy is calling, bigtime!  And thank you for this!
