my daughter is expecting my first grandchild the end of this month. her employer just changed health insurers effective 8/1 but she has coverage for the pregnancy under the new company. last week when she went into her Dr 's office she gave them her new insurance information. The Dr's office called her today and told her that when they called the new insurer to check her coverage they were told that there was no coverage. in a panic she called the new company and found out that according to them she has no coverage because she is a he according to the insurer's database. she actually had to have her HR Rep call the insurance company to have it corrected.
