Where do you shop for the most economical but good quality printer paper and ink cartridges? Will need a constant supply of both for a Canon printer. Going into a new business venture. Very excited but nervous. TIA

Costco sells paper at a good price, even better if you buy it by the pallet. I mail order my printer ink online. I purchased my latest batch of ink from ClickInk.

I have a Sam's membership and plan to check them out but I can join Costco if the prices are significantly cheaper for those two items in particular. I see a lot of online sources for ink and would appreciate those you would recommend! Thanks!!

I get my best buys on both at Staples. I shop when they have sales. Cases of paper for really cheap, package for a penny. Ink BOGO 50% off or a certain amount off & then I recycle my ink cartridges there when they have bonus promos. I think it's usually $2 back for each, but they do $4 off from time to time. Then you collect the Staples rewards & use them to buy your next paper/ink. If you order online & pick up in store you can use ebates, too.

Jet and clickink have good prices most of the time. I usually check bradsdeals.com to see who is doing a promo. Some of the f the sites change names, etc but when I find a crazy good price I stock up. I last paid $1.99 per cartridge for Canon ink....haven't bought paper in a long time but I think Inordered it from Walmart.com. Th y have different grades of paper so choose what you want.

You should never pay for paper, if multi-purpose suits your needs. As another poster said, Staples frequently has deals like a five-ream case for $1.00 or a ream for $.01 (both after coupon and rebate). As for a printer, go with a Brother laser printer. Toner cartridges are much less expensive per copy than ink cartridges. If you need to print in color, that may be another story, I've never made a comparison. You can sometimes get a very good Brother laser printer (black only) at Staples for less than $50 on sale.

Wow! Great info. I've been especially worried about the price of ink. Thx!
