The is from the Sheldrick Trust.  They also take care of other orphaned animals.  And over the years, friendships have born between the different species of animals.  Animals, unlike some humans, don't see to mind if they look different.  Like this.  These two are sometimes inseparable.

If only the humans could bridge their differences.

@songbird   Thank you for posting this adorable photo.  I am familiar with the Sheldrick Trust too.  They also are involved in conservation, preservation and protection of wildlife, including anti-poaching, safe guarding the natural environment, promoting community awareness and providing veterinary assistance to animals in need.

Awesome organization!

Human children also don't seem to mind.

I would have to pinch myself to be able to have access to such a wonderful animal environment on a consistent basis.  Seeing these animals in the wild in their natural habitat is so emotional and wonderful.  Who doesn't love an elephant?  Especially a little baby probably orphaned because of some hunters.

Zebras are so interesting because they resemble horses and donkeys and mules yet they are completely different with their striped coats and wild habitat on another continent.

Thanks for posting such a sweet feel good photo.

@jellyBEAN   The Sheldrick Trust found the baby zebra alone without it's mother.  Lions were tracking the zebra.  That's when the Trust took the zebra away.  Along with the elephants are 2 zebras, 2 rhinos (1 of them is blind and can never be released) several impalas and at least one buffalo. All animas taken to the trust are very young orphans.
