Re: Berry College eagle cam - Anyone watching?

Mom and Dad Decorah finally ran the owls off, a pair of owls were trying to take over the nest for the last coupe months! I got notice the egg was laid at Decorah on my FB page and of the Berry hatches but I wont follow them too closely.

I have been following 2 nests in Florida, juvies will fledge in a few weeks and an owl with her 2 chicks in a eagles nest in Georgia! Then will wait for a couple Osprey nests I follow later on this summer. Too many nest cams, too little time!!

Article from the Rome Tribune about our birds, and the people who watch them.

Berry's new stadium is created to keep the birds safe and happy.

SeaGal, you are so right about "...too little time". I spent so much time watching the Berry eagles, I felt like I was sitting on that nest myself! But I was determined to see the first egg hatch. Now, the Decorahs have started. Here we go again.

Re: Berry College eagle cam - Anyone watching?

Last year I watched Decorah, Fort St. Vrain, Berry. I must say I was a nervous wreck a lot of the time - so many illnesses and losses. Now that I know about the Decorah egg - I will probably at that cam to the Berry cam. Like you said. hear we go again. There go my fingernails.

There are many elements: wind, fire, water
But none quite like the element of surprise
