@chickenbutt  if this is true, then they must have the account holder's log on credentials and use the payment method on file.  If you go to the website and try to "share your membership" it clearly, clearly, states the sharing MUST be with a member of your household.  That has always been the case to my knowledge.

Thanks for that info.  That's good to know and, hopefully, it stops some people from cheating.  Smiley Happy

Of course there is shop and ship to....

You can purchase items for others and have it sent directly to them.  I have quite a few names in my Prime address books.  I purchase the product and click on the person I want the items shipped to.  Bill to/ship to.  That's different from sharing membership.

Anyone use their cash back credit card?

We do, @granddi. It's one of only three credit cards we have. We buy all the time from Amazon, so it we might as well get some dollars back.

I order most everything on Amazon. I won’t buy from Walmart and Target deliveries are unreliable.

I watch Amazon Prime videos all the time. Movies. New series as well as series previously on cable. And while they don’t have as many old tv series as Hulu, there is a lot. I recently rewatched all the original Dallas episodes.

We try and shop locally but nine times out of 10 can't find what you need, my DH says we'll Amazon probably has it which they always do. I love not waiting weeks for our items, returns are free and easy. Usually the prices are lower, we've only found a couple of items more expensive than Costco.
We order gifts for our son all the time makes it very convenient and no S&H 👍

I have a Prime credit card from Chase.  I have 2 credit cards.  One for bills/autopays and one for everything else.  The everything else one gets compromised at least once a year, so I like to keep all my online bill pay stuff separate because I am so tired of have to reset everything every time the card is compromised.

One thing that doesn't work for me is Subscribe & Save.  I guess the stuff I try to add isn't very popular.  My stuff is usually delayed or cancelled.  I don't think I've had more than 2 items on S&S at any one time due to them always being delayed or cancelled.

My opinion is different, I don't have Prime.  Sure there's free shipping and returns but now that  Amazon is the goliath of shopping they're no longer customer service oriented and  prices are almost always higher than other sites. The shipping charge is just hidden in the price.  I won't reward a company with my business that doesn't pay taxes, doesn't take care of their employees and to boot, spies on you.  Their goal is to put everyone else out of business, the end result is higher prices, no customer service, low wages.

I dont have Prime. I find much better prices eleswhere than on Amazon for the most part, and if i want free shipping I just am sure to spend $25, works just fine for me.

@Shelbelle I no longer have Prime, either.  I gave it up several months ago.  I have been surprised by one thing since giving it up.  I don't actually "need" so much stuff.  I am purchasing much less than I did when I had Prime.  For me, I guess it was just so easy  that I would always think "oh, Amazon has that", and was always browsing around on Amazon, which was causing me to be much more likely to buy something.  Now that we rarely, rarely shop Amazon, it's been interesting to see how much less I seem to "need."  When I first gave it up, I was afraid I would miss it terribly.  Turns out I don't miss it at all.
