Does anyone else think in terms of before and after?  I tend to think of "before 9/11" and "after 9/11."  I believe I will be doing this now as "before COVID-19" and "after COVID-19."

@MamaWick  Absolutely!  The world as I knew it ended on 9/11 and I feel it will be the same way for me with this virus.  I don't know how but life will be different.

Yes.

I have one really important date, specifically this year.

It will be the paradigm shift in my life...and many, many others.

That will be the 'line in the sand' of before/after.

I see it as before, middle, and after. We are in the middle right now.

@MamaWick

Perhaps SOME and only SOME will no longer take for granted---good health, the good work the medical profession does,  family/friends,  a fully stocked grocery store, jobs, a paycheck...etc etc.....But for others it will be just business as usual---- no lessons learned.......Woman Frustrated

Yes.

I don't think we'll ever be the same again.  I'm not saying that's bad.  It's just the reality of the situation.

Our Economy will be in the krapper. Some people will go back to work. A lot will not have jobs to go back to. With the Stimulus like it is I think companies are suppose to keep their help but I don't think they all will be able to do that.

Life as we knew it is gone now. Prices were high before this happened & after they will be even higher.

Quality has decreased while prices increased. Now the quality will be even less though I don't know how. Guess they will start downsizing all our products again?

If we all don't get with the digital world we will all be left behind soon.

Sadly we are just at the very beginning.

@MamaWickabsolutely --   you're reading where my mind has been for at least a week now.

I haven't written my own fiction yet, but I already have an index card showing some of the ways I hope my life will be the same and a column for those I already suspect will be changed for my forever.

Too pessimistic?   I hope so.   Realistic?  I think so.
