Going thru major re construction on our house from tree damage and when the guys tore off the roof in the front, they found a huge empty--wasp nest that is 2 ft x 3 ft---no bees in it as they only use the nest once--think it was paper wasps and had no idea it was there so no idea how old it was. Never heard them or had any on the house---but what a work of art and amazing construction.
