Stage 4 cancer is a concern but not a death sentence, thank the Lord.  My mom had stage 4 cervical cancer and passed away within 6 months at 81 y.o.  My husband had stage 4 prostate cancer at 66 and is said to be cancer free now because of surgical removal.  He had other issues resulting from the surgery but the main problem was taken care of.

So true @Mmsfoxxie  My mom, at 80 years of age, had stage 4 colon cancer that metastasized to her liver.  We are celebrating her 90th birthday this year and she is more active than I am!  Her doctors keep telling us they cannot explain it.  Sometime no explanation is necessary; one can never really know.  Keep praying.  Keep praying.

I saw Dana's announcement last night and she is one brave woman.I would never opt for any treatment other than standard medical practice though. I totally believe in better living through chemistry.

My prayers.  I choked up seeing her last night. It was so sad.
