I have never understood why some new high-end restaurants in our town allow servers to have beards...the cooks are not supposed to have them at all or else have them covered, but to me even the servers who carry the food to your table are just as germ-filled as the cooks....have never liked beards on workers who handle food.

I don’t see how you could keep a ratty, long beard free from germs without washing it more than once a day. Every time a guy eats...some of the food can get into the beard.....gross...like Guy Fieri slopping food all over his face and dripping it down his beard.
