Yes. I've never had a problem with it.

No and when I was in high school my Mom bought me a 10 year old 1969 Buick Electric that was two blocks long for safety sake, not to mention ugly as dirt. I was late for my night time class at the Jr. College and all I could find was a parallel parking space. I saw a young man sitting on a ledge just outside the building who had watched me attempt to park. I got out of my car and hollered at him "Can you parallel park? He said yes and I said Please Help. Got that big green ugly car in the spot and I made most of my class. That was in 1980 still do not know how to park. I always wondered if he told that story to anyone in his old age?

Yes I can, like nobodies business. LOL I will say going in on my left is easier for me but I can do it either way.
Funny thing, one of my bosses cannot parallel park at all. Often when you go to our courthouse, you have to parallel park. One time we were going down there together and he kept driving around trying to find a spot in a lot. I pointed out street parking which is when he told me he couldn't parallel park. Finally I told him to just get out of the car and go in and I'd park his car.

Haven't tried to parallel park since the day I finished driver's training.

I didn't get my drivers license until I was 30---I'm 62 now, and haven't parallel parked since the test!
Well...that's not entirely true. I have parked in front of someone's house...as long as there is no car behind me. ![]()

I'm very honest when I say I did it perfectly every time. Never had to pull back out and try again, never hit anyone's bumper! I did have a small car though, I drove a Volks Rabbit for years.

I have to laugh and say, "as long as I'm driving the only car around". We only seem to have places marked out for you to pull into. Haven't had to parallel park in many moons.

I learned to drive in NYC ... and the ability to parallel park is important. The guy from the driving school who taught me to drive made it really simple. I never had a problem.
