Having taught children and adults with disabilities for decades, I am not sure if this is exploiting or is inclusionary; I think for little girls with Downs or with vision loss the dolls would be relevant, but I hope those little girls would not be expected to play with these dolls and not all the other Barbies out there. Sometimes Mattel tries too hard. I agree they would be great in a preschool class. Kinder classes would not be having any type of Barbie dolls in the classroom.
