PEOPLE: Barbara Corcoran, 74, Recreates Martha Stewart's 'Sports Illustrated Swimsuit' Moment in White Bathing Suit

“You’ve seen Martha Stewart…but have you seen me,” the Shark Tank business expert wrote on Instagram.. 

Following the release of Martha Stewart's steamy Sports Illustrated Swimsuit spread, the businesswoman and Shark Tank star, 74, decided to take a stab at creating her own.

A new photo shared to Instagram Thursday shows Corcoran wearing a V-neck white one-piece bathing suit under what appears to be orange satin fabric draped around her shoulders as a makeshift shawl.

She sits on a lounge chair with her legs crossed while smiling at the camera. The view outside the window she sits in front of is all lush greenery and Manhattan buildings.

The next photo in Corcoran's carousel is Stewart's magazine cover, which shows the lifestyle maven in a plunging bathing suit and oversize gold jacket. She poses against a tropical setting in the Dominican Republic.

"I can't cook, but I sure can swim." Corcoran captioned the photos.

"You've seen Martha Stewart…but have you seen me," she added on her Instagram Story, tagging the craft connoisseur.

Not a fan of Barbara Corcoran.  On Shark Tank, I find her personality bordering on the line of rude and/or sarcastic.  But, that's just my opinion. 

As to why some famous people feel the want or need to pose for a magazine swimsuit spread after a certain age is puzzling, for lack of a better word.

@ciao_bella    Actually, I believe any woman of any age who wants to pose in a bathing should should.  I see no reason why age has any at all to do with it.  hinking that privilege belongs only to the young or currently fashionable size is a sure way to continue to give all sorts of power away.

Would I personally choose to pose ? No, but I would not have posed when I was 15 or 21 or any age someone else feels is appropriate.

I agree about her personality on Shark Tank. She is so flirtatious and inappropriate with some of the male contestants. No man would get away with that. It's so obvious that she thinks very highly of herself regarding her desirability.  But she does have a great figure.
