Really the week before.
Once a gazillion people begin to start traveling to Atlanta,
I predict there might be a strike of some sort...and action will
have to be taken. Just My Opinion.
Sad situation with the TSA agents not getting paid.
Can you imagine if there was a strike or ‘sick-out’ next week this time
or the week of the 28th?? Wow...everything would come to a
screeching halt. The reason I mention the Super Bowl, up to now
other than furloughed workers & those connected to the government
really haven’t been affected...aware & sympathetic, but not
directed affected. A TSA/airline strike would have everything
stop in it’s tracks.

I do feel sorry for those not getting paid... but I do think the plight of some furloughed workers is being grossly embellished to score political points on both sides of the aisle...having to sell your clothes and all worldly possessions to buy milk for your baby a day after a missed paycheck is a little hard to swallow. I do think it’s very nice of the banks and other companies that are stepping up and offering to help. Hope all this craziness is resolved soon. Pop the popcorn...the circus has truly come to town!

At the end of the day, unless you directly are a furloughed employee,
none of us know what it really feels like.
I can’t imagine the anxiety & mental stress.

If a family is living paycheck to paycheck and they are the working Poor then it may come down to having to sell possessions just to eat.

Do you think this is some sort of reality show?

It also depends upon the cost of living in different areas of the country. Maybe some people here have no idea how expensive it is to live in areas where they don't live?
Housing costs more, property taxes, rent, food, clothing, household bills. The list goes on and on. It can break people who are well off, let alone those who aren't.

I won't be popping any popcorn. I'm flying Saturday too, dreading it.
