Hahaha - hairbaby!   I don't think so.  Reminds me of 'hairball'.  I think 'furbaby' is cute, but it's just not a word I've ever used - not even for any particular reason.  You know how you gravitate to some words and others just don't 'fit' you or something?   Anyway, whatever.  (oops, guess that's another illegal word here)
