Re: Ban to be lifted on import of trophy elephants

The tusks.  They want to kill elephants so they can take their tusks.

I don't believe they are interested in the rest of the elephant.

This makes me sick to my stomach. Actually, I've been sick to my stomach for some time now.

Elephants are majestic, loving, intelligent beings. I'll say no more.

Why on earth would anyone want a trophy elephant?  Where does one keep a trophy elephant.

I'm an elephant fan ... have collected them for years as a political symbol (and I do have one token donkey).  But all of mine can fit on the coffee table.

It's not too hard to follow the dots.  That's all I'm saying.

Who does this benefit? Certainly not the animals.  So wrong on many levels, imo.

I could take a wild guess since I am aware of a trophy "hunter" but I'll take the question as rhetorical.

Since when is saving animals considered political?
