Re: Balsam HillTrees

[ Edited ]

I, finally, broke down and purchased a Balsam Hill Flip Tree!  Expensive, yes but worth it.  It's 7.5 ft. tall, 1200 lights.  It is on wheels!!!!  Comes in 2 parts, the top part is 2 feet tall, easy to handle and connects quickly into the bottom and lights automatically.  It comes with it's own storage bag.  It take 15 minutes to set up the tree.  It's a pleasure because I can no longer lift or carry the trees.

When first received, it will take time to "fluff" the branches,  It comes with a remote as well to make it easier to turn the lights on and off.  If you can afford to purchase the flip tree, I would highly urge you to do so.  Delivery was quick and easy.  It is delivered upright, so you only need to "slit" the carton and roll out the tree into the house.  Watch the video on the flip trees, it's very accurate!

@Somertime Looking at your beautiful tree (and SusanLouise) really makes me want one! I'm still using my Hallmark tree, but it's no where near as full and glorious as the two you posted.

@SeaMaiden @Somertime Both pics are so beautiful.

I've looked at these trees for 2 days, and just can't decide.  Wish I heard about these trees before Black Friday and Cyber Monday when there was probably a bigger selection of trees on sale.  What I want aren't included or sold out.  Wonder if they have an after Christmas sale

I wanated a Balsam Hill tree (white w/multi) for years. Last year I finally splurged and purchased aone. I picked one smaller than I would have preferred but it was on sale. I'm glad I got the size I did because it's a breeze to put up. This year I did have a light problem but I used the "LightKeeper Pro" tool and it seems fine. There is a 5 year warranty but read the description because that will vary if the tree is on sale or clearance. I'm happy with mine.

@SeaMaiden Thanks for that info.  I think a tree may take a week to arrive.  That would be Christmas week and there's so much to do.  I will wait till after the holiday.  I've finally decided on the type of branches/needles I want -- the mid-priced ones, now to decide on a tree and then just hit the "place order" button.  Don't care for the scotch pine varieties.  Remind me too much of bottle brushes.  Love the fir varities.

I have 2 garlands from BH and they are gorgeous! We do have 2 real Christmas trees and they blend in. I know someone who purchased a tree and she said that it is beautiful and worth every penny. Wait for a sale!

If I were to ever buy a fake tree (I never will0, I would definitely purchase from BH. The trees that QVC sells are embarrassing looking.

A friend bought one of these artificial Christmas trees and said just how beautiful it is.  Expensive, but worth every penny.  It was so full and had many lights.  I wondered if any of you have purchased one from Balsam Hill site and what your impressions are.  I want to buy one, but not seeing something "in person" scares me.  Especially what they cost.

ETA correct title of post and in the body of my post.  Should be Balsam Hill. Thanks for correcting me.

@coffee drinker  My daughter bought one last year.  It's white - she wanted white so that her Disney ornaments would show up. It is a gorgeous tree!!  It's pure white, the lights are white, and all she needed were her ornaments to have a showcase tree.  Oh, and it didn't turn yellow over the year even though it was stored in the hot attic.  It was worth every penny to her.  It's a stunning tree - full and lush, and the most important thing, it took 5 minutes to set up and fluffing was minimal.
