Bald Eagle Watch - Shadow & Jackie Are Back!

I know that there are a lot of bald eagle lovers here, and fans of Jackie and Shadow, and I saw on my Facebook page that they are back!

They have returned to Big Bear, and are nest building.

Sadly, last season neither of their two eggs hatched, so here's hoping that this season will be blessed with at least one eaglett!

I watch them too, but I think Harriet & M15 of the SW Florida nest will lay eggs very soon. M15's brood patch was revealed. which signals that eggs are on the way!

I'm watching SWFL too. What did you think about E15 hanging around so long? What a character. Sad to see this one go.

@Foxxee I could not believe E15 hung around so long - over 200 days I believe. I miss her, but if she had stayed longer, she would have interferred with Harriet laying her eggs in the main nest. I wish E15 well on her life's journey. Hoping for a healthy clutch for Harriet & M15 and a safe delivery!
