I placed 2 orders late last week- with a check. Yesterday I decided to use my regular payment method (a cc) to get the orders going- I updated the orders, immediately one went to backorder. And today the other showed up as a backorder! I called CS and they told me the longer your check order sits the more likely it will go to backorder!

I rarely use a check, is this true? It makes me think that check orders aren't considered 'real' orders if such little importance is placed on them. On .com it says the payment needs to be received within 15 days. But here I made the payment within a couple days!

Anyone have experience with this??
