My niece has a 9 month old little girl who puts her thumb in her mouth, like all the time. Actually she had her thumb in her mouth before she was born as the sonagram showed. Now her thumb is chapped and very sore, but she continues to put it in her mouth. Anyone out there ever seen this problem and how can she stop her little one from putting her thumb in her mouth. She tried giving her a pacifier, nope, she wanted her thumb. I could not use the word s u c k.
