I like their white albacore tuna. I think it is a good brand. I am sorry to hear of this

It's the only tuna I have ever purchased.  I'm sorry too.

I have never bought Bumble Bee brand. I do buy the Kirkland albacore and like it. I do k ow why daughter was pregnant last year her dr told her not to eat white albacore...to eat the chunk light instead because it is much safer.

I had Kirkland White Albacore tuna in water --- on cracked wheat toast -- for breakfast. Yummy

Re: BUMBLE BEE TUNA files for bankruptcy

Don't care for tuna in water. Way to salty.  We buy Genova brand in olive oil. Much better tasting yellowfin and albacore.  Non GMO project verified, certified sustaiaible seafood.  The one thing I don't care for are the pull ring tops to open the cans. Have to use the top to squeeze out the oil. My tuna can squeezer doesn't fit their size can.  Love it in tuna noodle casserole.

There's no need  to squeeze anything from a tuna can if you dump the contents into a fine strainer and let liquid drain into a bowl for a while.
