Police in Milwaukee have responded to an active shooting situation near a MillerCoors building.

Via The Independent:

Seven people are reported killed after a shooting rampage at the MillerCoors corporate campus in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The gunman, believed to be a former employee, is thought to be among those dead, according to reports in local media.

What is wrong with me? I could only see part of the headline and when I clicked and saw it was a shooting being discussed as opposed to a fresh viral outbreak, I was relieved for one split second. That is not normal.

This is yet another heartbreaking senseless tragedy! I wish there was something that can be done to prevent these tragedies, but realistically I understand these are complex events with no easy solution. I can only offer their families and loved ones prayers of strength , and count my blessings. As soon as we forget one story, another takes it's place.💔
