I see this from time to time, on the Forums and I have to admit, it makes me cringe a little bit. I mean, how tacky can you get??

I'm NOT talking about people being proud of an a hard earned accomplishment or sharing that they've saved for a year for their first pair of diamond earrings and just bought them, something like that.

I'm talking about the few posters who love to say how much they can afford to spend and do spend, how they boast about the beautiful things they supposedly have and trips they take, etc.

I say supposedly, because, while, as a Dietician, I am certainly not in a high income group, I do work, regularly, with people who make a handsome living; Doctor's, Hospital Administrators, and I've had quite a few patients, who are financially very comfortable.

Some of them may dress very well, drive handsome cars, wear lovely jewelry, etc., but, I've never known even one of them to be braggarts.

These posters not only boast about what they have, but, seem to take great glee in putting down what someone else might be buying and enjoying; "oh cheap junk, this is what I have and this is what a good pearl necklace looks like".

Like I said, "cringe"!!

Do you believe these posters have what they say they have, or do you think they're spinning an anonymous, on line fantasy? I have to admit, I lean towards the latter.
