Here are the ones I have verified as being either fakes or having some “work” done, so far:
#1 with Texas Barn in it is by Jason Weingard, a Texas photographer. As far as I can tell, the phases of the moon are actually from the recent lunar eclipse. Each shot of the moon was enlarged and laid over. More stars were added. The barn is truly here in Texas ...I have seen it on the way to College Station.
#2 ?
#3 Taken by a photographer with a picture of a well-known observatory in the foreground
#4 Real (although admittedly with a telescope) this one shows an asteroid hitting the surface during which has astronomers in a frenzy they are so excited
#5 This one is causing an uproar. It has been photoshopped. The largest phase does not occur in the middle.
#6 beautiful, and “if only” (fake)
#7 taken on a frozen pond in Norway...I’d say real
#8 real, but each moon image enlarged digitally to match sizes
