Decided I had best get August moving along. Not as hot or humid here today as it has been in the past few days. That is not saying, however, that it has cooled down. LOL.

Got excited again - saw two little squirrels running along like crazy - do hope they survive as I am told Coyotes have returned to the Wash and that is where these little critters are going. It is so exciting to see them after so many years.

Stripes got in trouble with me a few minutes ago. Went outside and he had nailed a little bird - I was able to get him and he dropped the bird and it flew off - do hope it survives. I keep telling that hunter Cat he is NOT to touch anything with feathers on it - he is suppose to stick to gophers, snakes or field mice. He doesn't listen well sometimes.

Trying to get Tessa lined up for school - always something to take care of but there is still a bit of time to get everything done.
