I'm curious. What is "in" right now with nails? We don't really follow trends where I live so I don't have a clue.

No one needs to follow trends. Just do what you like, for you.  And give everyone else the same allowance.

I agree. I was just curious what is popular. Didn't know the white nails were out.

they are not out @Renata22 ......they are just a choice.

good thing these days is we dont have to follow trends.

we can wear what we want and how we want.

i think being an individual and choosing your own style is quite important.

IS "BFD" the name of a brand?  Wow.

I always laugh when I see that because “barefoot dreams” is not the first thing I think of, LOL

Lol!  Me too @Bhvbum!

I don't know what is in or out either and though my own are certainly not in, I love looking at other's nail designs, colors etc.

I remember when I heard that french manicures were "out" and I thought why? I always thought they were so pretty. My daughter wore them a lot.

If I got my nails done, I would just keep getting what I liked best.

I'm sure that the fashion industry sets "trends" to boost the market and sales. New things are exciting to those who care, and for those who couldn't care less, will just keep trudging along in those wonderful "outdated," "dated," shmaded, styles! 😃

Remember Kari from her teenage years on the sitcom, Gimme a Break with Nell Carter. She was the oldest of 3 sisters on the show. Very prettty girl. i still see it on Antenna TV.

@rms1954   Every time I see a woman with white nails I can't help of thinking about white-out. You know the stuff, you make a mistake writing or typing and you use white-out to cover and then write over it. Maybe I'm dating myself after working forever in an office atmosphere that went from old fashioned typewriters to quickly editing online!

I actually still use white-out to cover name/address on mailing labels if I can't take them off to shred them.
