It's been a well known fact for a long time now that one can't cancel an order after it's been placed.

Actually you could cancel in a short window , so to the posters point i think it has changed.

I forgot to mention , my order was a bose and i tried to cancel after a few hours and it said it was shipped from vendor and it may be too far along , they had shipped it and i even tracked , and in mid shipment they said  send back to sender . I have never had that happen  ,either you can cancel or you receive the shipment. That was a few weeks ago , i think they are in fast processing truely now.

I have found I have been able to do it by their automated phone service.  When they say cancel your last item.... you hit that number and it's cancelled.  I think that is the 367-9444 number.

I've never cancelled an order in my life.

For years now, there have been posts from people who said that they couldn't cancel an order minutes after placing it.

I think its a willy nilly decision by QVC, as to if you can cancel an order or not.     I have cancelled 2 orders in the last week,  both at least 4 hours after placing the order.   One was clothing, one a kitchen item.    Maybe it does depend on what it is and where its coming from, as to if you can cancel.

I just don't feel any pressure to hurry up and buy -  pretty much everything is presented  more than once; besides, nowadays unlike in the early days, we can order any time -  not many deals disappear quickly.

I know the repetition drives all-day watchers crazy, but I've often ordered a TSV after 11 at night.  It would be unusual for me to want to cancel that order although I would return something if I were displeased once it arrived.

Do you want fast processing and shipping or more time to cancel?  Someone is going to complain no matter what.
