BARRY KIESELSTEIN CORD'S DAUGHTER ELISABETH HAS DIED

If my memory serves me right, Barry Kieselstein Cord sold jewelry for a while here on QVC. His daughter was 41 years old, married, a "socialite" and an artist as described by the NY Post.  Although no cause of death was specifically mentioned, Barry stated that she has been ill and fighting Lyme disease for a long time.

Her name was Elisabeth Kieselstein Cord Hamm.

I am not familiar but may she rest in peace.  I understand that Lyme disease is hard to beat.

@Katcat1 There is a former radio talk show host here in WA whose young sister, only in her 20's I think, battled lyme disease until she passed away. It's really a killer.

@Love my grandkids  That is terrible. Hopefully, one day there will be a cure.  That's all we can hope for.

Oh what a shame. So young. Rest in Peace. Barry Kieselstein Cord had great silver jewelry years ago on the Q. I was a big fan. Lots of pieces. Whimsical animals done really well.

Lyme disease is horrible. Thanks for posting this.

@Queen of shop  I liked what I saw of his pieces on Q (I saw very few shows) -- they looked very substantial and well made. I thought they were pricey though for QVC and never liked any enough to go ahead and spend the money. I'm glad you like your pieces.

Oh they are awesome pieces @Pearlee . Very chunky. I wear an elephant pendant a lot. Also his bee and daisy cross. They just tickle my fancy. Mr. Cord, himself, was a little quirky and had a dry sense of humor that I got a chuckle from.Woman LOL He was odd in a delightful way. Most creatives are. I like that. Isaac, IMO, is just as quirky to me. Love his shows even if I don't buy all the time.

@Pearlee   Loved his jewelry....This is sad news, never easy and she was so young.  My heart goes out to him during this challenging time.

@sligo @  You should Google him (I did last night).  He put his business on hiatus for a while; he had some financial difficulties and also an acrimonious divorce.  Take a look on the 'net.
