Have you ever experienced something you just have to tell someone about ?  Well I just have to tell about this one.  The pastor of my church is a hall of fame NFL player. We had a special guest on Sunday, it was Ray Lewis retired player from the Baltimore Ravens. (now I'm not into football much anymore but I knew who Ray Lewis was and I know he works for ESPN sports because my son told me)  He has written a book about his life and to hear his story was mind boggling. I did not buy his book, not pushing it but I just wanted to say how his story nearly brought me to tears.  I think his experience could be beneficial to a lot of young men who really need encouragement.  Awesome experience.

I remember as a teenager in the 60's hearing Bart Starr (Green Bay) speak to us at a church.  It was a great experience.  It is so nice to know that not all players and famous people are on drugs or going to jail.  We need to focus on the ones who give back.  Last I heard, Bart Starr had a ranch for boys.

I am glad you had such a good experience.  Those things you never forget. Thanks for sharing it.  I will have to look into that book.
