 Get ready for more live cam action. They are predicting  a due date in February . I so hope this gives her a healthy calf. I was so sad when the last one was stillborn.

That's so great that she's expecting again.  I, too, was heartbroken watching what happened last time.  I'm saying a prayer that everything goes well and her baby is in the proper position.  THANKS for sharing!

 I check in on her and Walter frequently and for the past 3 months I've thought she was pregnant.  I check the Zoo's facebook page occassionally but nothing has been anounced. How did you find out?

Thanks for posting this.  I have been waiting for official word that she is pregnant but have not heard anything.  How could I have missed the announcement?  Oh, I know, holiday, cooking and shopping distractions LOL.

It was on the news and they showed her. She is so beautiful. I spent many hours watching her.

Autumn, and her partner Walter, are at the Greenville Zoo.  There is a cam to watch them at http://www.earthcam.com/usa/southcarolina/greenville/?cam=giraffe_int

Their first born, Kiko, was transferred to Toronto Zoo earlier this year as part of the Masai giraffe breeding/preservation program.

The Greenville Zoo announced Monday that Autumn, a nine-year-old Masai giraffe, is pregnant.

The zoo says that Autumn could give birth as early as February.

Autumn and Walter, a 10-year-old male Masai giraffe, are part of the zoo’s breeding program.

Both Autumn and Walter arrived at the Greenville Zoo in 2007. Autumn came from the Franklin Park Zoo in Boston and Walter from the San Diego Zoo.

Their first calf, Kiko, was born in October of 2012 and was transferred to the Toronto Zoo earlier this year.

Thank you for the pic of Autumn and Walter snuggling.  I'm sure Autumn will be fine, however I am firing up a flameless candle and will be talking, lol, to St. Francis from now until March :-)
