Crooks and scammers aren’t going to honor any “do not call” list. Sad to say, but these scam calls must be lucrative or they would disappear. Someone is falling for these ploys.

Guess I am a bit older than you. During my school years the first day for me, as a student, was always after Labor Day. Unless I am mistaken, that always falls in September.

No schools, that I knew of, had air conditioning. Those "in the know", felt that children's minds could not function well, unless they were comfortable. Sooo!

I did read the start of your post and saw it had something to do with Medicare, so maybe your thread title mislead me. At times that is very easy to do.

Most of the schools in our city that had no AC, are no longer schools. Several of them were converted into buildings connected to the school system, my oldest sister retired from one.

If there are any in our city, my guess is they are the ones still standing, that were open during the 1950's. I can think of only 3 of the high schools still open, that were open during those years.

But!! Back to this Medicare thread, I think!   =^..^=

@hckynut.  My high school was built in 1963 and still does not have a/c. They use fans.
