I don't know what is it about black cats that I love so much. My cat is black with just a little white on his chest. He's the boss around here, too! {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

I love any cat though. Who can own one? I love that about them. So independent and smart. Love it!

wow! he sounds gorgeous.

I wish you could post a picture.

I have a soft spot for great big cats. My black indoor girl is huge--probably close to 20 pounds. She looks like a black leopard with long fur. Maybe it's because I was a dog person all my life?

That's interesting, azterry! I have a soft spot for the little ones, and many of those I've adopted over the years have been the runt of the litter.

Your black cat sounds lovely.

dooB,

My black cat's mama was a tiny thing. Just 6 pounds. She came to me as a feral. She had some nice big babies, though. Her two daughters are both good-sized cats.

I always thought she was tiny because she was on her own for so long and never got good nutrition. Sadly, I lost her last spring to bone cancer. I love her daughters, but there is a big hole in my heart from losing her.

rondell, my little black and white schnoodle is SO independent that we swear he has some cat in him somewhere. He will not come if you try to get him too. Like if you just want to pet him or something. Nope. It has to be HIS idea.{#emotions_dlg.mad}{#emotions_dlg.lol}
