@ValuSkr , the use of paragraphs is highly underrated IMO!  LM

There is another side to this coin. Posters say they have a solution to someone’s health problem, but ignore @ requests for specific details. I think this is cruel.

There is a positive side to anonymity. Many, if not most, will go along to get along so that if their opinion isn't the popular one, they keep it to themselves. This creates false assumptions. On an anonymous BB we hear opposing opinions and are given a chance to reevaluate.

As to the hostilities. Isn't it better if a person freely expresses it online than personally?

I exhibit this behavior even under the cloak of anonymity provided on this BB.

I tend to bug out when posts get the “Going Ghost” treatment.

Translate: when a post gets quoted so much, the original post

quoted begins to ‘fade away’.  By then, it’s a beef between 2 posters.

OMG...you’re right!

Just looked back on the 62-yr old grandma thread...there it is.

Had to giggle.

Re: At what length do you stop (or never start) reading discussions here?

Something I forgot in my earlier reply:  I don't open threads if the subject title is vague or deliberately teasing.  I think the subject should be clearly stated - That's the point of having it in the first place.

If I don't know what the subject is, I scroll on by.
