Opinions are great, but don't mistake them for facts.

I was watching Judge Jeanine and even though she was showing her cleav it wasn't what I was looking at. It's her ARMS...she looks very fit and very much an inspiration to me. I thing it all depends on how you bring it. Jeanine is 65...you go girl cleav and all!

BTW: the dang banner that they use 99% of the time on the show covers everything up anyway, lol.
(hate the banner)
I remember the day when you watched TV and got the whole screen for the programming!
The banner, the network logos that pop up in the corners, the 'ads' for what's on next, or next week or whatever popping up. It was so frustrating at first (and sometimes still is) but I have to wonder how effective any of it really is, as we learn to block it out.

@Frosted Cake I couldn't agree more.

@Frosted Cake I have to admit that I probably feel more uncomfortable reading about you ruminating over Ashleigh Banfield's breasts more than you are feeling about seeing them. Whenever I hear another woman complaining about how others should be covering themselves up, it reminds me of my travels in the Middle East. In this country, women need to stop telling each other to cover up. She wasn't dressed inappropriately. If the producers felt she was, they would have sent her to wardrobe to change.

Even when covered up these news anchors wear dresses so tight they may as well be naked. I guess this is the current trend in dressing but , being 67 and all, I do not think they look nice at all. Some of the most beautiful women in history - Liz taylor , marilyn Monroe etc diod not need to show themselves like that to make men crazy for them. If men today need this to make them feel desire for a woman - what is wrong with them ?

hello to you @tansy,
Now, now. I am a male viewer and I do watch the #1 rated cable news network, to which I think you are referencing. Really don't pay much attention to their male or female choices of dressing. Do know they have a "dress/suit-tie code" and it is pretty easy for "how one dresses experts" to see.
Me? I just want the news, thank you. For those looking for more viewing, the net is full of places one can visit.

Women don't always dress the way they do to attract other men. Sometimes they want to wear something that makes them feel good and looks attractive on them.

Define 'appropriate'. It varies with culture, age, personal choice etc.
It all has it's place, and at some point, the way women are dressing (or undressing is more the point) in public, there won't be fashion anymore, because nothing will be covered up.
There are social norms (and yes they change over time), but we still live in a world where if you want to be taken seriously for something besides your body, you need to dress for the occasion/event.

Won't she have to wear a short tight skirt, stilettos, and sit at a clear glass topped table?
Just to complete the compete.
