I think many readers do, in fact, understand the monolithic nature of QVC and also understand that every move is plotted and is part of a grand scheme or master plan... Unfortunately, when a plan isn't netting intended or desired results they seem not to grasp that it might be time to tweak it... For them, tweaking has largely consisted of throwing out more Easy Pay.
We all get that a large segment of retail is struggling but at the height of the recession, QVC's talking heads crowed that the recession hadn't hit them hard. Well, they too appear to be facing challenges now. Many of us saw it coming and stated our thinking as to the several reasons why. Most of those reasons have been stated by various posters on this thread and again, instead of harvesting data from social media, perhaps they should take a long hard look at what their very own customers are saying. Then, just maybe, they should consider acting on that feedback...

That's what you would like but that is not what everyone would like. One day last week HSN was offering free s/h on absolutely everything on air and on their website.
At least one poster said she doesn't care about free s/h, she wants easy pay. If she thinks that way, there are plenty of others who feel the same way.

For me, untl the price for healthcare premiums comes way down, I cannot afford to spend what I have in the past on any retail purchases!!
