We got our first one today. Next one in 3 weeks. Pfizer. It went like clockwork, they were excellent in how they did it, no glitches at all.

Does it help with the soreness? I had thought of cold compresses.

@ECBG, yes it will help some with the soreness because it causes the muscle fibers to contract and also improves circulation to the injection site. I would advise against cold applications because that decreases circulation which is what you don't want to do.

Just don't swing your arm so wildly you whack the wall with it, like DH did. That did take his mind off his upper arm soreness. ![]()

@ECBG @ECBG @@It's not sore enough to need anything. The only time I feel it is when I reach overhead to grab a bottle of water from on top of my fridge.

@ECBG, if it helps the specific exercises we demonstrated and recommended in the vaccine clinics I did was of course doing arm circles and making at least 6 big rotations of your arm at one time. But we also recommended flexing the arm by bending it at the elbow then move your fisted hand to your chest. Extend your arm out horizontally until your arm is completly extended out from your body. Repeat for a total of 6 times.
If you do that last exercise now, you can feel how it contracts the muscles in your upper arm.
Just in case that information helps. ![]()
