I didn't start paying attention to this trial till much later in the game. I did not hear analysis of the Medical Examiner's original testimony.
I saw Nancy Grace's show with it last night.
I thought it very powerful to end the trial with him again. Showing those other autopsy photos, seeing the gunshot wound to the head, and the stab wounds was very compelling.
Saying that decomposition caused his brain to be like pudding left a disturbing image, and the juror questions were good. They were trying to find out if the gunshot wound was instantly incapacitating, as it would expose another lie.
It sure makes the "self defense" issue seem ridiculous. I think he said 9 stab wounds to the back - self defense?
I sure would like to know how a woman successfully fought off a much stronger man. Yes, she had a knife, but a strong guy could get it away. He had defensive wounds. She must have gotten in a very good stab wound so he could hardly fight.
The man was no saint, but didn't deserve this.
