Not really but my grandmother was. I got a kick out of not being able to do things because she was so superstitious. The number 13 has been a big part of my life.  My old house number was 1313,  my grandmother's room number at the nursing home was 13, My rank was 13 out of 106 in my senior class, the numbers of my current address add up to 13...I'm not afraid of it all.

No....not at all.  I've never heard of any superstition regarding opals (wearing or not wearing) either.

Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit, but Wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad.

No, but I do believe in lucky charms.Smiley Happy. For some people a black cat signifies bad luck. But not for me. My mom gave me a little black kitty figurine showing it's raised paw. In Japan, these cat figures with the raised paw is suppose to bring good luck.

No, not to any great extent.  I didn't even know it was Friday the 13th and I don't mind putting a hat on my bed or hanging something on a door knob.  I'm not sure how to describe it but I don't like talking about certain subjects or dwelling on terrible things when there's no reason to.  It feels like it's tempting fate.

As for me, i'm pretty much a reality-based thinker so I guess I'm not superstitious.
