Re: Are you on the hit list?

Unbelieveable! I finally got the IRS call last week, boy they really make them sound believable, don't they? I didn't even bother listening to the whole thing....

These scams are crazy!!!

Re: Are you on the hit list?

Yes, I have been spoofed!

I didn't know that term existed until a few weeks ago.  I do not answer my phone if it's an unfamiliar name or number on caller ID.  Imagine my surprise when the phone rang and my name and number appeared!  I had to answer to see what I wanted!

It was a recording claiming to be from Microsoft and alerting me to a problem!  I don't work for Microsoft and have no idea what the problem might be! LOL!  So, I called our state AG's office and was told my phone number had been spoofed.  Unfortunately, there is little that can be done other than to change my phone number.  I blocked my number so I or Microsoft can't call!

Re: Are you on the hit list?

I’m at the point where I don’t answer my phone anymore.I let it go to voicemail .Any unfamiliar crazy texts get deleted ASAP.

Gee remember the days when the phone rang & someone you knew was on the other end? Now my phone rings several times a day & it’s rarely anyone I know!!

I feel bad for all the lonely gullible people out there!!

@this is my nic  Well how dare you do that to your yourself!  LOL

Actually that's not funny.  It make me angry that these people can't find something better to do with their time than inconvenience the rest of us.

I'm also angry at the amount requested.  I am worth a heck of a lot more than $2000 USD.

Re: Are you on the hit list?

I finally turned the ringer off on the house phone.   Nomorobo is great but got sick of all the one rings all day and night  until Nomorobo grabbed it.   One number  has called every day for 6 months now!     Been tricked with spoofed caller ID many times, last week got one that showed US Courts in Tennessee.   Didn't answer that one either!    Got a couple that showed local business names.  Life is better now that the ringer is turned off LOL.  If its a real call they will leave a message I do check messages daily.

Someone may be trying to assasinate you.  Obviously the police hope you'll call 911 before paying your assassin off but it's up to you.

A few days ago we were all being put in jail now we're all going to be bumped off.  Behold your funny for the day.

What nerve these people have.

My husband and I have decided next time we get one of these scammers, we will tell the people we will pay them the money, but only if they will meet us at our local wal mart.
