Re: Are you a ""list maker""?

I have a fairly good memory, but I still make lists. Keeps me organized.

My sister is the queen of list makers and then loves crossing things off after completion.

While usually I prefer life without lists, sometimes they really are necessary.

Before travel, for instance, to make sure packing, bill paying, cat sitter, ready money, etc. are all finished on time.

Oh yeah! That's the great part of lists - crossing stuff off. I don't cross the lines out, but I just like to put a check mark (of course, my backwards left-handed check marks that people make fun of me for) next to each thing I've completed, or put in the cart in the case of a shopping list.

Oh, I love lists. I love organization. And, yes, it is very satisfying to cross something off of a list.

I totally agree, Burnsite. I actually enjoy making those lists. I consider the planning and getting everything in order prior to traveling, fun. The one I too often avoid is the grocery list.

Very much so. If I start to get stressed out and frazzled, I immediately stop and say out loud, "****** (my name) -- you need to make a list." And suddenly everything is all better. I love making lists and crossing things off the list ... and then making a NEW list after the first list is too messy. Smiley Happy

I do not make list for routine things. If we are going on vacation, hosting a holiday or having a party, I make a list.

Re: Are you a ""list maker""?

I have lists everywhere: Upstairs, down stairs, basement, front porch, car, Lists, lists, lists everywhere! Even in the bathroom!! When I'm in my prime', I tape them all together and have a very long, long list clothes pinned to my shopping cart! LOL........... (Other shoppers do chuckle..........)

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).
