Re: Are you a ""list maker""?

I make a grocery list the first of the month & a list of things to do if I am expecting company from California. On paper.

Re: Are you a ""list maker""?

Only since I am older have I become a list maker and that is due to my (recent) memory going out the door! lol.

I even post sticky notes on my laptop to remind me of certain things I have to do like make phone calls, Dr. appointments etc.

Calendar programs are really great for that kind of stuff, also. Back when PCs had MS Works on them, there was the MS Works calendar and I used it extensively for anything from birthdays to appointments and tv show reminders.

Since they stopped having that program, I found the calendar program 'Calendarscope' that I like even more. You just diary stuff, and you can also do reminders that repeat like every week, every Monday (or whatever), every 4 week or every month - the choices are endless - or every year on a certain date.

It just has a little window that pops up on the day of a given reminder, so it's not intrusive or like one my husband used that sent you an email. I don't need more emails clogging up the works. I love Calendarscope. There is no way I could keep up with some things otherwise. I even have one that comes up every Thurs to email the bills to my husband so he can transfer the money into my account. I use it for pretty much everything that I don't 'list'.

I didn't use to make lists but I do now. As prices on many things have risen so much, I make lists and make sure I stick to them to get by.

Re: Are you a ""list maker""?

I'm guilty of being a list maker who then snaps a photo because I can't always remember the list.
