It has been absolutely beautiful the past few days here in Chicago.  Temps in the mid 60s in the morning and low 80s and very little rain or humidity.  I'm close to the lake where it's always cooler.  If you want heat, move west.  I prefer the cooler weather.

I'm in SW PA too - I enjoy the cool mornings.  I turn the AC off and get some fresh air.

AC is usually back on by Noon.  But today should be cooler and less humid.  I was thinking this morning how even when I was much younger I always enjoyed a period of cool weather in the summer - respite from the heat and humidity.

I don't like heat and humidity, so, 54 degrees in the morning,

We had a balmy 73 this morning at 9 am.  Lovely!  Pasco County, FL.

54 this morning! Had to turn on the furnace. On July 9th! WTH? The songbirds have flown south and the pool is full of penguins. (yes, ok, that's an exaggeration - but not the temperature. It's really 54 here in SW Pa. this morning.)

@151949

So sorry but if there was a way to email an attachment of about 30 degrees to you, I'd gladly do it!   lol

We've had a surprising number of triple digit days in the greater Los Angeles area.    I visited a friend in Woodland Hills CA yesterday, and when I got back in my car, the temperature said it was 111 degrees!    BOY, was my car hot!   yikes!

OMG, what I'd give to feel 54 degrees, we had a high of 95 degrees yesterday, plus humidity, I hate summer!!!

54 I'd be happy as a tick in ****  LOL   I have to let my house heat up to 82 before I can turn on the air around noon or 2:00 and run for 8 hrs. only.

Count your blessings sweetie. In 100's down here almost daily for 3 good months of every yr. (Tx.)
