There is more than enough to worry about nowadays and keep us in a constant state of anxiety.   TV ads are the least of it.

Some of the apps I use skip the ads, I'm watching less of them than ever before......

The only ads I pay attention to is when they read off all the side effects of drugs they are advertising.

In most cases the "cure" could be more deadly than the disease it's treating!

Otherwise - all other ads, I ignore.

Most of the time, I tune out the commercials. When one comes on, my mind checks out!

There's legislation in Congress right now to prohibit this, what I consider should be called "illegal pushing of drugs."  However, I fear that Big Pharma's lobby will never allow it to see the light of day.  I'm sure they are making gobs of money on these commercials.  It's totally disgusting.

I don't have cable; most of the time, if my TV is on, I am streaming and don't get commercials. I rarely notice commercials when watching regular TV. I am usually doing something else.

Op there are commercials for everything but you only focus on the health related commercials.  Start turning them off or muting the tv when they come on.
