Absolutely not. Polls are interesting little tidbits but do not influence my own opinions/thoughts one bit.

Human behaviour has pretty much proven that most people are influenced by majority opinion.

I agree, @jaxs mom.  People often are emboldened and empowered by "herd" or "mob" mentality.

I am interested in the but also who did the research, what people were asked....but they don't influence my decision

As I mentioned, google "margin of error."

I taught this lesson once (the students' eyes were glazed over, but it was during a presidential election and they had asked about "polls.")

 

MOE for political polls is nothing but a JOKE. : )
